KYIV, Sept 30 – Operators of the gas transmission system (GTS) and underground storage facilities (UGS) of Ukraine have signed a memorandum to study the possibilities of developing the market for hydrogen, biomethane and synthetic methane, the press service of Ukrtransgaz has reported.

The document provides for strategic cooperation of two independent operators in decarbonizing the energy sector, unlocking the potential of renewable gases in Ukraine, researching technologies and processes for their transportation and storage.
