KYIV, Sept 28 – Ukrainians support accession to the EU and NATO and consider the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko the most effective in international politics, according to the results of a sociological study conducted by the Socis Center.

According to the study, if a referendum on Ukraine's accession to the European Union is held in the near future, 61.4% of Ukrainians would vote for it, while 26.4% - against. Ukraine's accession to NATO is supported by 57.4% of the respondents, and 29.3% are against it.
