KYIV, Sept 24 – Ukraine continues to harvest grain and leguminous crops, as of September 23, 1.1 million tons of corn were harvested (a rise of 0.69 million tons in the week starting on September 16 and ending on September 23) from 226,800 hectares (4% of planned areas), the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said on the website on Friday.

According to the report, a total of 54.23 million tons (a rise of 2.89 million tons per week) of major grains, legumes, oilseeds were harvested this season, and sugar beets were dug from a total area of 13.89 million hectares.
