KYIV, Sept 7 – Preliminary studies by Ukrenergo have confirmed the technical feasibility of synchronous operation of the Ukrainian and European power systems, the Ministry of Energy has said.

"NPC Ukrenergo presented the preliminary results of studies conducted at the request of ENTSO-E regarding the static and dynamic resistance of the integration of the IPS of Ukraine with the power system of continental Europe, which confirmed the technical ability of the synchronous operation mode," the Ministry of Energy said on the website following the results of the meeting on preparation for synchronization with ENTSO-E.
