KYIV, Sept 3 – Energoatom's separate subdivision Energoatom-Trading in August 2021 sold 6.36 MWh of electricity, which is 12% more than in the same period last year, and increased revenue by 49%, to UAH 6.26 billion, according to a company's press release on Friday.

"Due to improved efficiency of electricity sales in all market segments, the volume of imbalances in August 2021 decreased to 2% [from 17% in August 2020], which was the best performance since the new electricity market launching, i.e. from July 1, 2019," the company said.
