KIEV, Oct. 19 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko attended on Oct. 18 the premiere of a feature-length documentary film on the Holocaust, entitled Spell My Name, the presidential press service reported.

The press service said the president believes it is vital to promote greater awareness of the Holocaust as the deliberate extermination of millions of innocent people. He thinks, according to the press service, that Ukrainians, as well as the world community, should know the real history of that period to learn its lesson and prevent it from ever happening again.
