KYIV, Aug 26 – Alfa-Bank (Kyiv) has downgraded the forecast for real GDP growth in Ukraine in 2021 to 3.7% instead of 4.3% in the April forecast and the average annual inflation in 2021 to 9.4% instead of the previously predicted 8.5%, the press service of the bank reported to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
According to the bank's macroeconomic forecast, insufficient investment is one of the reasons for moderate expectations of growth in the Ukrainian economy next year and in the long term, in particular, according to the basic forecast trajectory, in 2022 Ukraine's real GDP will grow by 3.5%.
