KYIV, Aug 20 – Cancellation of discriminatory restrictions on the import of samples of plant protection agents for state testing and scientific research only after confirmation of their registration in the country of production will increase investment in Ukrainian agrochemical science this year by 30-50%, as well as modernize equipment and create new jobs for scientists.

The European Business Association (EBA) said on its website about the positive effect of amending Article 4 of law No. 1586-IX on pesticides and agrochemicals (previously bill No. 2289), allowing the import of innovative plant protection agents to Ukraine without their registration in the country of production.
