KYIV, Aug 25 – Ukraine has received its $2.7 billion tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as part of a new allocation of Special Drawing Rights, or SDR, Kateryna Rozhkova, first deputy governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, said Monday.
"Today the 1.9 billion SDR arrived on Ukraine's IMF account! Excellent gift for Independence Day!" Rozhkova wrote on Facebook. The tranche of 1.9 billion SDR equals $2.7 billion.
