KYIV, Aug 16 – Ukraine should increase vaccination among priority groups, in particular, health workers, teachers and people older than 60 years, the Word Bank said Monday.
"Vaccination is now open to all people in Ukraine. However, the priority groups at greatest risk should not be left behind. According to August 12th data of the Ministry of Health, the vaccination rate among health workers, who are on the frontlines of the pandemic, is still at 69 percent, while among education staff the vaccination rate is only 62 percent. The vaccination rate among the elderly – people older than 60 years – is only 9 percent, lower than the national average," the World Bank said on its Facebook page.
