According to the report, the broader Ukrainian computer market in 2006 got close to 1.5 million, with 20% of the general volume for notebooks, 1.3% - for x86 servers. According to IDC, in future the share of laptops will be growing steadily, but as the IT penetration is rather low in Ukraine (eight personal computers for 100 Ukrainians), desktops will prevail on Ukrainian IT market for, at least, the next three years.
