KYIV, Aug 5 – Metinvest, the largest Ukrainian mining and metallurgical holding, in January-June of this year, it increased the total production of iron ore concentrate by 5% compared to the same period last year, to 15.864 million tons, pellets by 41%, to 3.582 million tons and the total production of coking coal concentrate – by 76%, to 2.705 million tons.

According to a press release of parent company Metinvest B.V. on the results of operation in H1 2021 published on Wednesday, in 2Q 2021, the Group's total output of iron ore concentrate climbed by 4% q-o-q to 8.069 million tons because of greater ore production at all iron ore assets, as well as the effect of operational improvements.
