KYIV, Aug 5 - The average price of farmland in Ukraine as of August 1 has stabilized at UAH 26,800/ha, or significantly lower than UAH 40,000/ha the fair value target of the Agrarian Policy Ministry, according to data released by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UAC) association.

The data disproves earlier assertions from opponents of the farmland reform that foreigners would immediately rush to buy Ukrainian farmland after the market opens on July 1.
