KYIV, Aug 3 – The outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in Ukraine may begin within the next two weeks, experts from Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) believe.
"The risk of the rapid outbreak in Ukraine is increasing weekly. Despite the fact that the situation remains under control and the medical system is not overloaded [beds with oxygen are loaded by 9%, intensive care units by 12%], the outbreak is possible within the next two weeks. The main reasons are an increase in the incidence in the world," Head of the KSE Center for Health Care Economics Yuriy Hanychenko said during an online presentation of an analysis of the situation with the spread of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
