KYIV, July 30 – Ukraine may resort to importing coal from Poland, South Africa, and Kazakhstan if domestic mines fail to produce enough coal for the winter, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.
"In fact, we see the coal reserves that are in accordance with the approved schedules, and we see how we can increase. We are focused on the maximum production in Ukraine. Wherever there is not enough, we will import," he told reporters. "We will solve the problem. There are no problems that cannot be solved," he said.
