KYIV, July 29 – The Ministry of Energy has received the authority to manage corporate rights that belong to the state in the authorized capital of natural gas pipeline operator Mahistralni Gazoprovody Ukrainy (MGU, Trunk Gas Pipelines of Ukraine) and power grid Ukrenergo.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Energy, the decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on July 28.

The government also transferred the functions of managing the single property complex of the state-owned enterprise Market Operator to the ministry's management.
