KYIV, July 28 – Deputy Head of the President's Office of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva met with the Commissioner for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Matthias Lüttenberg, who said that Germany is ready for consultations initiated by Ukraine on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

According to the President's Office of Ukraine, Zhovkva during the meeting informed Lüttenberg about Ukraine's position on the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project, noting the threats associated with it both for Ukraine and for the whole of Europe.
