KYIV, July 19 – Cargill, one of the world’s largest privately-held food companies, has acquired 51% stake in a major grain terminal near Odesa capable of handling 5 million metric tons of grain annually, the company reported.
The U.S.-based company bought the stake for an undisclosed sum from two Ukrainian entrepreneurs, Yehor Hrebennikov and Andriy Stavnitser, who built the terminal and who had a previous agreement with Cargill.
