KYIV, July 19 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny imports natural gas and pumps it into storage facilities as part of a previously approved plan thanks to sufficient liquidity, the growth of prices on the market did not violate this plan, Naftogaz Ukrayiny CEO Yuriy Vitrenko has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"We have plans to import and pump imported gas, we are not changing them, even despite the price increase. We have enough liquidity. For now, we are just importing what we planned to import, pumping it into storage. This will give us the opportunity to go through the heating season," he said on the sidelines of the 12th International Ukrainian Energy Forum of the Adam Smith Institute held in Kyiv.
