KYIV, July 19 – Dmytro Firtash's Ye Energiya LLC and a number of other market participants, who signed agreements this spring with the former management of Naftogaz Ukrayiny on the purchase of gas to secure annual contracts for the supply of gas for the needs of the population, take advantage of these agreements and resell gas to industrial enterprises, Naftogaz Ukrayiny chief Yuriy Vitrenko said.

"The facts have been recorded that gas is being sold, since this agreement with Firtash's companies allows gas to be resold, and they resell this gas to industrial consumers [...] And this creates the risk that these volumes will then not be enough for the needs of the population, and it will be necessary to compensate with imported gas," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
