KYIV, July 16 - In order to stimulate the use of electric transport, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine proposes to gradually ban the import and the first state registration of cars with internal combustion engines (ICE) from January 1, 2027.

The corresponding draft law on amendments to the law of Ukraine on certain issues of import to the customs territory of Ukraine and the first state registration of vehicles was posted on the ministry's website last week.
