KYIV, July 14 – CEO of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) Mauro Longobardo turned to ArcelorMittal with a proposal to allocate $500 million for capital investments (capex) instead of the planned $300 million.
"My personal desire is that I am trying to convince the corporation of this, is to have up to $500 million a year in the capital budget. This, surely, is still a theoretical figure, this is my personal wish," Longobardo told journalists at an informal press conference in Kyiv.
