KYIV, July 13 – Parliament has sent for revision a draft law on amendments to some legislative acts concerning the regulation of the circulation of cannabis for medical purposes, scientific and scientific-technical activity (draft law No. 5596).

Some 240 MPs voted for such a decision at a session on Tuesday.

Bill No. 5596, in particular, proposes to introduce the limited and controlled circulation of cannabis for medical and scientific purposes, enhanced control over its circulation, an electronic register of all cannabis-based drugs and a system for their sale exclusively by electronic prescription.
