KYIV, July 6 - Ukraine will enter the heating season 2021/2022 with about 19-20 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas reserves in its underground storage facilities (UGS), the head of Ukrtransgaz, performing the functions of the operator of UGS facilities in Ukraine, Serhiy Pereloma, has said.
"According to preliminary estimates, we will approach the heating season with gas reserves in UGS facilities at the level of 19-20 billion cubic meters. This is enough to comfortably pass the heating season in Ukraine and at the same time continue cooperation with our foreign customers," he said.
