KYIV, July 2 – The framework agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France on the official support for the renewal of the fleet of freight electric locomotives of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia was ratified by the Verkhovna Rada on July 1, 2021.

According to a posting of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on its website on Friday, within the framework of the agreement, it is planned to localize the production of locomotives in Ukraine at 35%. This is planned to be fixed in a commercial contract.
