KYIV, July 1 – Bill No. 3356-d on the mandatory use of liquid biofuels (biocomponents) in the transport industry since May 1, 2022 was adopted by Parliament in the first reading.

This decision was backed by 293 MPs on Wednesday.

The authors of the legislative initiative are a number of MPs, in particular, Andriy Gerus, Oleh Seminsky, Andriy Zhupanyn (all from the Servant of the People parliamentary faction), Inna Sovsun (Holos faction), and Mykhailo Bondar (European Solidarity).
