KYIV, June 29 – Ukraine will play England in Euro 2020 quarterfinals in Rome on Saturday after Andriy Shevchenko’s side on Tuesday earned a dramatic extra-time victory over Sweden.
Artem Dovbyk scored in the final minute of time added on after Oleksandr Zinchenko's first half strike had been cancelled out by Emil Forsberg.
“Ukraine have a new folk hero, his name is Artem Dovbyk and generations of Dovbyks will remember the moment he scored his very first international goal. Or, better yet, they'll look it up on YouTube, because if they're merely told the story, they may not believe it,” Gabriele Marcotti, a Senior Writer for ESPN FC, wrote after the game.
