KYIV, June 9 - The growth of consumer prices in Ukraine in May 2021 in annual terms accelerated to 9.5% from 8.4% in April.

Inflation rose to 1.3% in May from 0.7% in April, while underlying inflation remained at 0.7%, the State Statistics Service said.

In general, for the first five months of this year, inflation in Ukraine amounted to 6.1%, underlying inflation - 3.9%.
