KYIV, June 8 – Ukraine is studying the situation with trade restrictions on the part of Belarus and will try to settle it without escalating restrictions, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka has said.

"We are analyzing the situation. The question is how to resolve it so that the escalation of restrictions does not start. If we fail to relieve tension, we will have no choice but to adequately respond to the measures of the Belarusian side. It will be negative for trade, but we will defend our interests," Kachka told Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the Ukraine 30. Ecology forum on Tuesday.
