KYIV, June 4 – The price of capital housing has grown by an average of 5-10% since the beginning of the year, the head of the Kyiv city branch of the Association of Real Estate Specialists Ukraine, Olena Haidamakha, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to her, the January and April lockdowns practically did not affect the residential real estate market of the capital.
"In the secondary market, from January to May, the cost of apartments increased by 3-7%, depending on the location, the condition of the house, the area of the apartment. During lockdowns, the number of transactions for the purchase of housing decreased by an average of 15% compared to December and March, respectively. However, in 95% of cases, sales were not canceled, but delayed in time," she said.
