KYIV, June 4 – UNICEF, as part of the global COVAX initiative, has delivered another 705,600 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 to Ukraine.

According to a press release from the COVID-19 Vaccination Communication Center at the Public Health Center, this batch will be used to vaccinate with a second dose those who received the first vaccination with CoviShield/AstraZeneca and AstraZeneca-SKBio vaccines, in particular doctors and other workers of healthcare institutions, participants in the Joint Forces Operation in the East of Ukraine, social workers, clergymen, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, SBU, people over the age of 65.
