KIEV, Oct. 11 - Ukraine accumulated 25.5 billion cu m of natural gas in its underground storage facilities four days ahead of schedule, the energy and fuel ministry press service said in a statement Wednesday.

The government said this amount of gas would be enough to secure steady gas transit from Russia to Europe via Ukrainian pipelines, but also to meet growing domestic demand during the winter.
