KYIV, June 3 – The total volume of transactions using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks rose 18.3% on the year to UAH 1.09 billion in January-March, the National Bank of Ukraine reported Wednesday.

The total number of transactions rose 22.1% on the year to 1.697 million in January-March, the bank said.

Ukrainians carried out non-cash transactions for the amount of UAH 664.3 billion (61% of the total amount), while last year this figure was 54.6% of the total amount.
