KYIV, June 2 – About 65% of Ukrainians leaving for medical services abroad go to Turkey, 12.6% – to Spain, and 7.2% – to Germany, co-founder of the international platform for hospital search and treatment arrangement Bookimed Yevhen Khotianov said.
According to him, the five most popular destinations for medical tourism also include Italy (2.9%) and the UAE (2.2%).
"Now the activity of Ukrainians to travel abroad for medical services is still slightly less than in 2019, but it is recovering quickly," he said.
