KYIV, May 31 - UDP Renewables investment and development company has closed a deal with Qatar's Nebras Power for the sale of a controlling stake in five solar power plants: Scythia-Solar-1 (13 MW), Scythia-Solar-2 (33 MW), Free Energy Henichesk (18.3 MW), Terslav (19.7 MW) and Sun Power Pervomaisk (6.5 MW).
UDP Renewables notes that the partnership with Nebras Power will allow taking a new strategic focus on the development of UDP wind power facilities, the strategic goal of which is to increase electricity production to 700 GWh in 2023, which will meet the needs of 310,000 medium-sized households.
