KYIV, May 25 – United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC), which manages Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant (Dnipropetrovsk region) and Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant (Zhytomyr region), fundamentally revising the policy of cooperation with counterparties, from May 1 concludes all new contracts with product buyers after passing the client's compliance control and on the basis of 100% prepayment.

According to the Tuesday company press release, the compliance control procedure provides for a set of measures to protect the interests of UMCC, with the purpose of avoiding possible reputational risks and maintaining a satisfactory financial position of the company on the eve of privatization.
