KYIV, May 21 – If the project of the Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 is implemented, it will be a loss for U.S. diplomacy, Ukraine is concerned about changes in the sanctions regime, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"I want to emphasize another element that the official position of the United States remains unchanged: they believe that Nord Stream 2 is a bad and unnecessary project. And they are trying, as they argue, to stop this project, just in a less conflicting way. I may not know something, we all do not know something, and U.S. diplomacy will be able to hinder the implementation of this project in a more flexible way, but if this project is still implemented, then it turns out to be a loss for U.S. diplomacy," Kuleba said in an interview with Radio NV.
