KYIV, May 20 – DTEK Energy Holding has launched the first in Ukraine industrial energy storage system with a capacity of 1 MW and a capacity of 2.25 MWh, located at the site of the DTEK Zaporizhia TPP power plant in Enerhodar.
During the roundtable conference titled "First Energy Storage Day" in Kyiv on Thursday, DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said the opening of the energy storage system is a truly historic event in the power industry and will become an impetus for building a reliable and flexible energy system in Ukraine.
