KYIV, May 20 – Ukraine has contracted 45-47 million vaccines against the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
"We have contracts for 45-47 million free vaccines for the population of Ukraine. This is the maximum amount that could be found under the programs, COVAX, a separate program of direct contracts, for example, under a contract with Pfizer for 20 million doses," Zelensky said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
The head of state also noted that Ukraine has already carried out more than 1 million vaccinations.
