KYIV, May 19 – The city of Horishni Plavni (Poltava region) in 2020 again became the best in terms of the integrated air pollution index among 39 cities of Ukraine, although its indicator slightly deteriorated over the year, from 1.2 to 1.9.

According to Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the list of cities with a very high level of pollution is headed by Mariupol with 15.7 (17.9 a year ago), Kamianske with 14.8 (14.3), Dnipro with 14.1 (17.2), Kryvy Rih with 13.8 (12.7) and Odesa with 12.7 (14.4).
