KIEV, Oct. 6 ??“ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is going to increase the amount of new projects in Ukraine in 2007 to EUR1 billion from EUR700 million in 2006 and EUR530 million in 2005, a top-ranking EBRD expert said.

The Bank also will more actively invest funds in Ukrainian companies and assist them in carrying out initial public offerings, said EBRD President Jean Lemierre, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
