KYIV, May 18 – Ukraine’s government has approved the National Action Plan for Environmental Protection until 2025 with the aim, in particular, to bring the share of renewable energy sources to 17% by 2030 and increase the environmental efficiency index by 5 points. Government resolution No. 443-r dated April 21, 2021 published on the government website on Tuesday.
"It is important that the document defines the mechanisms for managing the territories of the Emerald Network of Europe at the state level, and provides for the creation of a government body for waste management," Minister of Natural Resources Roman Abramovsky said, commenting on the ministry's website.
