KYIV, May 17 – The operator of underground gas storage (UGS) facilities of Ukraine will re-equip five gas turbine engines for Bilche-Volytsko-Uherske UGS facility by the end of 2021, the total cost of the project exceeds UAH 80 million, JSC Ukrtransgaz said on its website on Monday.

"The modernization will reduce the consumption of fuel gas during the operation of UGS facilities by 20%, and will increase the economy and efficiency of the largest gas storage facility in Europe," the company said.
