KIEV, Oct. 9 ??“ Kiev Economic Court on Oct. 5 banned the National Communications Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NCRC) from holding a tender for the 5,470-5,670 MHz radio frequency bands for the IEEE 802.16 WiMAX standard.

The ruling was issued under an appeal by Kiev-based International Center of Information Technologies Ltd. until the case is heard in the court, the commission posted on its Web site last week, referring to the head of the commission Oleh Haiduk.
