KYIV, May 13 – The situation with an increase in the neutron flux density under the Shelter object (installed above the power unit No. 4 of Chornobyl NPP) is predictable, controlled and not a case of emergency, the press service of the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety said on Thursday.
"The situation with somewhat increased neutron flux density is not unpredictable or unexpected. If the readings of these sensors are considered in combination with other indicators, one can see that there is a great margin to the established limits, taking into account the reaction rate, and there are no reasons to worry," the press release said.
