KIEV, Oct. 9 ??“ Kiev-based Alfa-Bank announced it has issued a $150 million credit to UkrGaz-Energo, Ukraine's exclusive gas importer, to replenish its circulating funds in order to purchase imported gas.

The bank said that currently it is considering the possibility of increasing the credit to $200 million. Other details were not disclosed.
