KYIV, April 28 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny is waiting for the final award of the tribunal under the auspices of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague to determine the quantum of damages from the expropriation of the group's assets in Crimea by the middle of 2022.
According to the group's consolidated statements released on Tuesday, a hearing on the quantum will take place in The Hague in June 2021.
In June 2020, advisor to the Naftogaz board chairman, Olena Zerkal, said that the group expects the award on the Crimean assets by the end of 2020, despite the Russians' attempts to postpone all hearings for a longer period.
