KIEV, Oct. 6 - Ukraine's Industrial Policy Ministry plans to implement an Aug. 2 decree issued by the country's previous government to set up a joint venture to complete the Kryvy Rih Mining and Beneficiation Plant for Oxidized Ores (KGOKOR) in line with the proposal of Russia's Metalloinvest and Ukraine's Smart Group.

The government commission that decided this proposal was the best option for completing KGOKOR "included professionals from ministries and agencies that worked out this issue," First Deputy Industrial Policy Minister Dmytro Kolesnykov said.
