KYIV, April 22 - Kyiv City Council has approved raising a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of up to EUR140 million for up to 13 years for the development of the capital's thermal infrastructure, the press service of Kyivteploenergo has reported.
Some 93 deputies voted for the corresponding decision at a plenary session on Thursday, April 22.
"Kyivteploenergo has been granted permission to carry out all the necessary transactions, and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko is authorized to sign a guarantee agreement with the EBRD on behalf of Kyiv Council," the report says.
