KYIV, April 19 – The Ministry of Finance is counting on the completion of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in July and the allocation of a tranche in September this year, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko has said.

"This [September] is a good option, which we are moving towards. There is progress so far, and I want to be an optimist in this case," he said in an interview with Lb.ua.

According to Marchenko, Ukraine cannot afford a significant expansion of the state budget deficit.
